BAO'S
The bar at BAO'S, a long wooden counter with stools, bottles lit along the shelves and the arched window to the sea at the far end

The counter, Little Venice

The closest seat to the crew

A long wooden counter, stools along it, and high tables against the sculpted wall opposite. Walk in free, or reserve a table from 19:00.

The bar runs the length of the room. A long wooden counter, bottles lit along the shelves behind it, pendant lamps down the ceiling, and an arched window onto the sea at the far end.

Standing at the counter costs nothing and needs no booking — it never has, and it is not going to. What can be reserved are the tables: the high ones against the sculpted white wall opposite, and the places at the counter itself, from seven in the evening until half past eleven.

It is the loudest part of BAO'S and the closest you can sit to the people making the drinks.
