BAO'S
Bottles with sparklers carried above the crowd at BAO'S

After dark, Little Venice

Party all night

The saxophone comes in at 20:30 and plays against the DJ. After that the room stops being a terrace and becomes the reason most people came.

BAO'S is a night bar with a sunset in front of it. The light goes, the saxophone comes in over the DJ at half past eight, and the evening turns — that is the hinge the whole night hangs on.

From there it is bottles carried through the crowd with sparklers lit on them, glasses up across the room, and the bar at its loudest. It runs late.

You can stand at the counter all night for nothing, with no booking and no minimum. If you want a table in the middle of it, the Rotonda sits beside the DJ booth and The Room has a door that closes.

A live saxophone over the water, playing against the DJ as the last of the light leaves the bay. It is the moment the evening turns, and the reason a lot of people come back.
